The E-5 passive two-way column speaker is the smallest speaker in the series, with four 4-inch drive units built in. The special custom cabinet and speaker design has a nominal coverage angle of 110° x 30° (h x v). The 4-inch driver has a unique cardioid directivity setting: radiated by a special arrangement of speakers at the front and a damping port at the bottom of the cabinet, this design provides a constant directivity coverage of 120° horizontally and a near-field coverage of 30° vertically. The cardioid directivity generates minimal energy behind the speaker, thereby reducing reflections and achieving a balanced sound level distribution throughout the listening area, which can improve the sound transmission gain when a microphone is working at the same time. The cabinet is constructed of first-class imported birch, and the surface uses a durable polyurea spray paint technology to form a very thick protective layer for the cabinet to prevent scratches and collisions during transportation and installation, while being sturdy and durable. The standard configuration of the E-5 series speakers is white or black, and a custom color (SC) option is also available, which can be customized to all colors in the RAL color card.
