GL-312 adopts a passive three-way design, including 2x12" low-frequency drive units, a 10" mid-frequency drive unit with a horn, two high-frequency compression drive units with 1.4" throats and 2.5" voice coils. The high-frequency compression drive unit has an adjustable wavefront correction horn patented technology device. The neodymium iron boron low-frequency drive unit is distributed in a dipole symmetrical manner around the center of the box. The coaxially designed mid-frequency and high-frequency components are installed in the center of the box to ensure the smooth overlap of adjacent frequency bands in the crossover network design. This design can form a horizontal 120° constant directivity coverage with excellent control effect, and the low-frequency lower limit of the controlled horizontal constant directivity diffusion angle extends to 250Hz. The speaker adopts a 3-point hanging system.
GL-312 has a frequency band range of 55Hz-20kHz, and the low frequency can be expanded through GL-B1806. When used with B-228, the low frequency can be expanded to 35Hz.The cabinet is made of all birch board, and the surface is coated with a durable polyurea spray paint technology to form a very thick protective layer for the cabinet to prevent scratches and collisions during transportation and installation. It is also sturdy and durable. The side panel adopts an integrated die-cast aluminum structure to ensure the best sound quality and the integrity of the cabinet. The front of the speaker cabinet is protected by a rigid metal grille, which is made of sound-transparent fabric. The speaker cabinet provides customized color and weather resistance options. The weather resistance option provides IP55 and IP56 protection levels to ensure that the speaker can still work normally under changing environmental conditions.
