AE12 is a two-way high-output trapezoidal speaker system, which can be used as the main amplifier of small and medium-sized venues. Applications include small religious places, auditoriums / theaters, integrated audio and video systems, hotel ballrooms and conference rooms. This system can also be used as a distributed or supplementary speaker in large venues, with excellent performance. Applications include large religious venues, auditoriums / theaters, arenas, stadiums, night clubs and multi-purpose themed entertainment venues.
In order to achieve the design goals of the application, MEYE engineers developed a new high-performance compression drive unit with an opening of 1.4 inches and a voice coil of 34 mm. It is mounted on one of two different horns with a horn coverage of 100 ° × 70 ° . The horn, which is equivalent to the size of the cabinet, can maintain consistent directivity throughout the high-frequency passband. The speaker uses a 75mm low-frequency drive unit with a voice coil to supplement the sound quality and output of the high-frequency drive unit. Compared with speakers of the same specification and price, this speaker can output clear high-fidelity sound at a higher sound pressure level.
